Director

Mrs. Amanda Bond is from Weatherford, TX where she was a 2-year member of the Texas All-State Treble Choir. She received her Bachelor's degree in Music Education at Texas Tech University in 2006 and then spent three years as a junior high choir director in both Lewisville and Arlington ISDs. Choirs under her direction have earned Sweepstakes at UIL contests and Best in Class awards at Hurricane Harbor Choral Festival, and individual students have made top scores at UIL Solo & Ensemble Contest and have been selected to the TMEA All-Region Choir and the TCDA Honor Choir. Mrs. Bond recently completed her Master's degree in Choral Conducting from Southern Methodist University while also teaching private voice lessons in Richardson ISD. A huge Dallas Mavericks fan (Congratulations, 2011 NBA Champions!), Mrs. Bond enjoys running, biking, reading, traveling, cooking, and being insanely organized. She and her husband Reed, a high school math teacher in Richardson ISD, have recently moved to Dallas, TX. Mrs. Bond is very happy to be joining the Stafford team this year and is looking forward to a successful and fun year!
